Dalam berpuasa, umat Islam juga mendapatkan sejuta manfaat selain pahala yang berlimpah. Salah satu manfaatnya ialah dalam bidang Kesehatan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">dr. Alvin Nursalim, SpPD pernah menyebutkan bahwa ada banyak manfaat puasa bagi kesehatan. Manfaat-manfaat itu ialah sebagai berikut:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mengontrol Gula Darah<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beberapa studi menyebutkan, berpuasa dapat membantu mengontrol kadar gula darah agar tetap stabil, sehingga bermanfaat untuk pasien diabetes. Dalam studi yang dipublikasi oleh <em>The Journal of Nutrition, <\/em>peneliti menyimpulkan berpuasa secara berselang-seling akan membantu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Menurunkan Berat Badan<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Menurut penelitian di <em>The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition,<\/em> berpuasa dapat meningkatkan metabolisme melalui peningkatan kadar norepinefrin di dalam tubuh. Penurunan berat badan pun terjadi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bahkan, dalam salah satu review yang dipublikasikan jurnal Nutrition, manfaat puasa sehari penuh dapat menurunkan berat badan hingga 9 persen.mMassa lemak tubuh juga menurun secara signifikan setelah menjalaninya selama 12-24 minggu. Akan tetapi, penurunan berat badan dapat berlangsung stabil apabila juga memperhatikan menu makanan saat sahur dan berbuka puasa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Menurunkan Kadar Kolesterol dalam Tubuh<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Berdasarkan studi yang dipublikasikan <em>jurnal Obesity,<\/em> puasa selama delapan minggu dapat menurunkan kadar LDL (kolesterol &#8220;jahat&#8221;) hingga 25 persen dan kadar trigliserida hingga 32 persen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bahkan, pada satu studi yang dilakukan pada 4.629 orang dan dilansir dari <em>American Journal of Cardiology,<\/em> menyebutkan bahwa berpuasa dapat menurunkan risiko penyakit jantung dan diabetes tipe 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Menurunkan Tingkat Stres<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Puasa ternyata juga bermanfaat bagi kesehatan mental. Hal ini terjadi karena saat puasa, penderita stres dan depresi akan belajar untuk berkata tidak pada makanan. Hal tersebut merupakan langkah awal untuk mengambil kontrol penuh dalam hidupnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selain itu, berpuasa di bulan Ramadan juga mendorong untuk menahan hawa nafsu lainnya, menjadi lebih bersabar dan tenang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Baca Juga :<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/lspt.or.id\/kajian\/hal-hal-yang-membatalkan-puasa\/\">Hal-Hal yang Membatalkan Puasa<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Melawan Peradagan<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beberapa penelitian menemukan bahwa berpuasa dapat membantu menurunkan level peradangan sekaligus membantu memperbaiki tingkat Kesehatan. Sebuah penelitian yang mengamati 50 orang dewasa sehat menunjukkan, satu bulan berpuasa intermiten secara signifikan menekan tingkat penanda peradangan. Penelitian lainnya menemukan efek serupa saat orang puasa 12 jam sehari dalam satu bulan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Meningkatkan Produksi Hormon Baik<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beberapa hormon sangat berdampak terhadap pertumbuhan, metabolisme, penurunan berat badan dan kekuatan otot. Hormon pertumbuhan (<em>human growth hormone<\/em>\/HGH) merupakan sejenis hormon protein penting untuk mendukung kesehatan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beberapa penelitian sudah membuktikan bahwa berpuasa secara alami bisa meningkatkan kadar hormon pertumbuhan tersebut. Sebuah studi yang mengamati 11 orang dewasa sehat menunjukkan bahwa berpuasa selama 24 jam secara signifikan meningkatkan kadar HGH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selain manfaat yang disebutkan di atas, masih ada banyak dampak positif dari berpuasa dalam kesehatan manusia.
